  17. I used a Banksia PCCard Modem in my notebook for around eight
  18. months until it got zapped by lightning on a trip to Melbourne,
  19. when I had been lazy enough not to take my lightning protector
  20. with me. I was more than happy with its performance and talked
  21. my elder brother into buying the same for his notebook, when
  22. I went to replace it I was not able to get another *that day*
  23. so I purchased a Netcomm, perhaps its just my imagination but
  24. I think the Banksia was quicker.
